With over 20 years of experience in ophthalmology, she offers a deep understanding of patient care, precision, and professionalism—making her a calming and capable first point of contact for every guest who walks through our doors.

A San Diego native, Karla was born and raised in Chula Vista and proudly calls this vibrant city home. Her passion for aesthetics and skincare shines through in her everyday interactions, as she eagerly pursues her long-term goal of becoming a licensed esthetician. Her enthusiasm for wellness, beauty, and helping others feel confident is the heart of her work.

Known for her Pilates obsession and dedication to healthy living, Karla embodies balance both personally and professionally. Whether coordinating appointments or simply offering a friendly smile, she ensures each patient’s experience is welcoming, seamless, and supportive.

Outside of the spa, Karla cherishes time with her two children, Daniella and Lorenzo, and her high school sweetheart, Francisco. Together, they love discovering new restaurants, traveling, and enjoying peaceful morning walks along the beach in Coronado.

Tandis is a highly accomplished licensed esthetician with a decade of experience in the beauty and skincare industry. Having worked with both prestigious medical spas and top skincare companies, she brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to every client interaction. Tandis holds a master’s degree in graphic design, which fuels her deep appreciation for the art and beauty of skincare, allowing her to craft treatments that are not only effective but also aesthetically pleasing.

Her favorite treatments to perform are the HydraFacial and VI Peel. Tandis is passionate about creating customized skincare experiences that leave her clients looking and feeling their best.

Beyond her professional life, Tandis is a vibrant individual who loves to travel, explore new cultures, and indulge in diverse culinary experiences. She is also a talented pianist and enjoys staying active by playing tennis. As a dedicated mother of twin boys, Tandis balances her dynamic lifestyle with grace, bringing that same energy and dedication to her work with clients.

Julieta Asaro

Licensed Esthetician

Claire

Registered Nurse

Claire, is an experienced Registered Nurse with 11 years in nursing and over 20 years in the beauty industry. As a licensed esthetician, makeup artist, and aesthetic nurse since 2017, she blends her artistic talents with medical expertise to offer treatments that are both effective and naturally beautiful.

Her passion for the combination of art and science drives her work, with a particular love for microneedling and skincare. Claire is dedicated to helping clients achieve their aesthetic goals while maintaining a natural look that enhances their unique features.

When she’s not in the spa, Claire enjoys staying active through fitness and outdoor adventures, and loves spending quality time with her dog. Her approach to aesthetics is rooted in care and precision, making her an invaluable part of the B Medical Spa team.

Rita Jamil-Clovis

PA, Physician Associate

Rita Jamil-Clovis has been a licensed Physician Assistant/Associate for more than 22 years, providing healthcare services in Medical Aesthetics for over 10 years and previously providing care in Obstetrics and Gynecology for 18 years. After graduating Cum Laude Distinction with a B.S. in Biology from the University of California, San Diego in 1996, PA Rita Jamil- lovis proceeded to complete the Western Michigan University Physician Assistant Program in 2000 with a Master of Science in Medicine. That same year, she obtained her license in the state of California. Throughout her career, PA Rita Jamil-Clovis has dedicated herself to providing exceptional health care services for a wide variety of women’s gynecological and obstetrical conditions throughout San Diego County, including the underserved areas. More recently, PA Rita Jamil-Clovis has focused her passion on assisting those desiring to improve their skin care health and achieve their wellness goals. When not working, PA Rita Jamil-Clovis enjoys spending time with her husband and two daughters, hiking, going to the movies and traveling. She also volunteers as Co-President and Treasurer for multiple Foundations and Organizations in her community and local schools.

Nadine Haddad

M.D., Physician, Owner & Medical Director
