Karla brings a wealth of experience and a naturally warm presence to our front office. With over 20 years of experience in ophthalmology, she offers a deep understanding of patient care, precision, and professionalism—making her a calming and capable first point of contact for every guest who walks through our doors.

A San Diego native, Karla was born and raised in Chula Vista and proudly calls this vibrant city home. Her passion for aesthetics and skincare shines through in her everyday interactions, as she eagerly pursues her long-term goal of becoming a licensed esthetician. Her enthusiasm for wellness, beauty, and helping others feel confident is the heart of her work.

Known for her Pilates obsession and dedication to healthy living, Karla embodies balance both personally and professionally. Whether coordinating appointments or simply offering a friendly smile, she ensures each patient’s experience is welcoming, seamless, and supportive.

Outside of the spa, Karla cherishes time with her two children, Daniella and Lorenzo, and her high school sweetheart, Francisco. Together, they love discovering new restaurants, traveling, and enjoying peaceful morning walks along the beach in Coronado.

Tandis

Licensed Esthetician

Tandis is a highly accomplished licensed esthetician with a decade of experience in the beauty and skincare industry. Having worked with both prestigious medical spas and top skincare companies, she brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to every client interaction. Tandis holds a master’s degree in graphic design, which fuels her deep appreciation for the art and beauty of skincare, allowing her to craft treatments that are not only effective but also aesthetically pleasing.

Her favorite treatments to perform are the HydraFacial and VI Peel. Tandis is passionate about creating customized skincare experiences that leave her clients looking and feeling their best.

Beyond her professional life, Tandis is a vibrant individual who loves to travel, explore new cultures, and indulge in diverse culinary experiences. She is also a talented pianist and enjoys staying active by playing tennis. As a dedicated mother of twin boys, Tandis balances her dynamic lifestyle with grace, bringing that same energy and dedication to her work with clients.

Known for her artistic eye and personalized approach, Tandis is a valued member of our team, helping each client achieve their skincare goals with precision and care.

Julieta Asaro

Licensed Esthetician

Julieta is a seasoned esthetician with over 13 years of experience in the skincare industry. Her passion for promoting skin health and well-being is evident in every aspect of her work. Fluent in both Spanish and English, Julieta is dedicated to providing personalized treatments tailored to individual needs, creating a welcoming atmosphere for all clients.

With a strong commitment to ongoing education, Julieta stays abreast of industry trends and holds certifications in many skincare techniques and machines. Her expertise extends from advanced facials and peels and beyond, ensuring clients receive the highest standard of service.

Beyond her professional endeavors, Julieta is a devoted mother to two young boys who keep her active and energized. Outside of work, she indulges her lifelong passion for ballet dancing, a cherished hobby that has grown with her over the years.

Julieta’s skills in team leadership and dependability are evident in her ability to create a cohesive and supportive environment for her colleagues and clients. She approaches every appointment with passion and care, embodying the ethos of excellence that defines our medical spa.

Aryana

Medical Assistant

Aryana brings a refreshing sense of purpose and compassion to her role. A graduate of UEI College’s Medical Assistant program, Aryana is deeply passionate about beauty, aesthetics, and overall wellness-making her a natural fit in our results-driven, patient-centered environment.

Though new to the industry, Aryana approaches each day with enthusiasm, curiosity, and a strong desire to grow. She’s always eager to learn, support her team, and ensure that every patient feels cared for from the moment they arrive.

Aryana has long been fascinated by the world of aesthetics and takes great pride in contributing to each patient’s confidence and self-care journey. Her gentle nature and dedication to helping others shine through in every interaction.

Outside of work, Aryana enjoys hiking, creating mini video vlogs, and taking peaceful walks along the beach-activities that reflect her love for nature, creativity, and balance.

Sophia

Assistant Practice Manager

Sophia, our Assistant Practice Manager, is a creative individual with a diverse background in social media management, content creation, and graphic design. Her journey in the digital realm has been marked by a relentless pursuit of creativity and a keen eye for emerging trends.

She thrives in the dynamic world of social media, where she has honed her skills in crafting compelling content and building brand awareness. The ability to convey emotions and values artistically is not just a professional pursuit, but an innate drive that influences both her work and personal endeavors.

Fascinated by artistry and personal expression, Sophia finds inspiration in the transformative power of aesthetic and beauty treatments. She takes pride in curating content that resonates and attracts audiences to foster a sense of empowerment and confidence.

Outside the digital landscape, one can find Sophia immersed in various hobbies that fuel her creativity. She loves to read, practice yoga, go to the beach, and express herself through art and cooking.

Cristina

Front Desk Manager

Cristina, our lead front office coordinator, encompasses an impressive background spanning six years across various realms of expertise in the beauty industry, including medical dermatology and wellness spas. Her multifaceted experience equips her with a comprehensive understanding of patient needs and operational intricacies, ensuring seamless coordination and exceptional service delivery.

With a background as a medical assistant, Cristina has a deep understanding of the healthcare realm, establishing herself as a pivotal figure in ensuring the smooth operation of our establishment while maintaining a strong emphasis on patient care and satisfaction.

Cristina approaches her role with a steadfast commitment to excellence, consistently going above and beyond to assist and guide our valued clientele on their journey to self-improvement and rejuvenation.

Outside of her professional commitments, Cristina will be found in the company of her daughter, Lily. Together, they seek out new adventures and restaurants, creating memories that enrich their bond and fulfillment.

Claire

Registered Nurse

Claire, is an experienced Registered Nurse with 11 years in nursing and over 20 years in the beauty industry. As a licensed esthetician, makeup artist, and aesthetic nurse since 2017, she blends her artistic talents with medical expertise to offer treatments that are both effective and naturally beautiful.

Her passion for the combination of art and science drives her work, with a particular love for microneedling and skincare. Claire is dedicated to helping clients achieve their aesthetic goals while maintaining a natural look that enhances their unique features.

When she’s not in the spa, Claire enjoys staying active through fitness and outdoor adventures, and loves spending quality time with her dog. Her approach to aesthetics is rooted in care and precision, making her an invaluable part of the B Medical Spa team.

Rita Jamil-Clovis

PA, Physician Associate

Rita Jamil-Clovis has been a licensed Physician Assistant/Associate for more than 22 years, providing healthcare services in Medical Aesthetics for over 10 years and previously providing care in Obstetrics and Gynecology for 18 years. After graduating Cum Laude Distinction with a B.S. in Biology from the University of California, San Diego in 1996, PA Rita Jamil- lovis proceeded to complete the Western Michigan University Physician Assistant Program in 2000 with a Master of Science in Medicine. That same year, she obtained her license in the state of California. Throughout her career, PA Rita Jamil-Clovis has dedicated herself to providing exceptional health care services for a wide variety of women’s gynecological and obstetrical conditions throughout San Diego County, including the underserved areas. More recently, PA Rita Jamil-Clovis has focused her passion on assisting those desiring to improve their skin care health and achieve their wellness goals. When not working, PA Rita Jamil-Clovis enjoys spending time with her husband and two daughters, hiking, going to the movies and traveling. She also volunteers as Co-President and Treasurer for multiple Foundations and Organizations in her community and local schools.

Nadine Haddad

M.D., Physician, Owner & Medical Director

Nadine Haddad, M.D., upholds unwavering standards of ethics and excellence. Dr. Haddad’s commitment lies in fostering transparent communication with patients regarding whole-body wellness, guiding them through their journey to confident health and comprehensive beauty.

With a residency in family practice at the University of Wisconsin, Dr. Haddad is Board-Certified in Family Medicine and Obesity Medicine, alongside certification from the American Board of Aesthetic Medicine. Leveraging her expertise, she empowers patients to achieve their unique health objectives.

Driven by a fascination with skin health and the body’s innate ability to regenerate, Dr. Haddad seamlessly integrates beauty with overall wellness to deliver transformative outcomes, restoring not just appearance but also bolstering self-assurance.

Her dedication extends to addressing both men and women’s health concerns, particularly those impacting sexual happiness and overall well being. Recognizing the pivotal role of combating obesity in managing chronic health conditions, she fervently guides patients towards embracing healthier lifestyles across the spectrum of wellbeing.
